Primrose of Mishawaka Hires New Sales Director

MISHAWAKA, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka has hired Fran Conner to be their Sales Director.  She began her duties on July 26.  In this capacity Conner will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for the retirement community.

Conner brings more than 10 years of experience in senior healthcare with her to Primrose.  She has worked in home care, senior living sales and marketing, and as an independent living administrator during that time.  “I came to Primrose to help make a difference in the lives of seniors,” Conner said.  ‘I consider it a privilege to come alongside them and offer assistance,” she added.

Primrose of Anderson Hires New Memory Care Director of Nursing

ANDERSON, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Anderson has hired Ashley Craig to be Director of Nursing for their memory care services.  She began her duties on February 12.  In this role, Craig will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kari Alcorn, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Craig is a 2007 graduate of Ball State University.  She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and has worked in hospitals and as a visiting nurse throughout the region since her graduation.  “I came to Primrose because I truly believe in their mission and vision,” Alcorn said.  “It is a blessing to come to work each day knowing that I am valued as a person and as a professional,” she added.

The Primrose of Anderson Memory Care Community, located at 2101 N. Primrose of Pueblo Hires New Director of Nursing

PUEBLO, CO– Primrose Retirement Community of Pueblo announces that Dawn Jones has joined the team as Director of Nursing. In this role, Jones will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Glinda MacKenzie, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Primrose of Wausau Hires New Director of Nursing

WAUSAU, WI – Primrose Retirement Community of Wausau has hired Cynthia Fish to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Fish will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kathy Jamison, manage the nursing staff.  Fish, who began working at Primrose on February 26, will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Fish brings 41 years of nursing experience with her to Primrose, including experience in dementia care, rehab, and hospice.  “At this point in my career, I thought Primrose would be a perfect fit,” Fish said.  “I have a compassion for seniors and a real desire to help residents maintain their highest level of independence for as long as possible.  I’m very much looking forward to helping make a difference in their lives,” she added.

Tolbert has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and brings sales and marketing experience in home health, hospice, and senior living with her to Primrose.  “When I first visited Primrose, I felt the love and compassion our staff has toward our residents and one another,” Tolbert said.  “I knew from that day that Primrose was where I wanted to be,” she added.

Primrose of Kansas City Hires New Executive Director

KANSAS CITY, MO – Primrose Retirement Community of Kansas City has hired Rod Clark to be their new Executive Director.  He began his duties in February, and in this capacity, Clark will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Clark was the Dining Services Director at Primrose of Kansas City starting in 2014 until becoming Executive Director in February.  He studied criminal justice and human behavior in college and has also completed coursework in the field of human relations.

“My first few years at Primrose have been wonderful,” said Clark.  I have truly found the company I want to retire from, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to be the Executive Director here,” he added.

“We’re very excited to have Rod in his new role,” said Primrose Regional Operations Manager Tom Brown.  “His enthusiasm and drive will help Primrose continue in our mission of providing an amazing experience for our incredible residents.  We’re confident that he and his team will do great things for Primrose of Kansas City,” he added.

Primrose of Rapid City Hires New Executive Director

RAPID CITY, SD – Primrose Retirement Community of Rapid City has hired Jordan Murphy to be their new Executive Director.  He began his duties in January, and in this capacity, Murphy will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Murphy has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in healthcare administration.  He brings two years of experience as an Executive Director in an assisted living setting with him to Primrose.  “I am excited to be working for such a well-respected organization,” Murphy said.  “Primrose has a set of core values that align with my own,” he added.

Primrose of Lancaster Hires New Memory Care Director of Nursing

LANCASTER, OH – Primrose of Lancaster has hired Jennifer Feigley as their new Memory Care Director of Nursing.  She began her duties in January and in this role Feigley will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Adam Jones, manage the memory care nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Feigley has 15 years of experience in nursing, including working as an Registered Nurse at the Fairfield Medical Center.  She came to Primrose as the Assistant Director of Nursing in 2016 before assuming her new position in January.  “I came to Primrose because I was looking to grow as a nurse,” Feigley said.  “Primrose allows me to give back to the community I grew up in, and I am excited to get to know each resident,” she added.

“I look forward to getting to know all of or residents and going above and beyond to provide a person-centered approach to care,” Pitt said.  “I have tremendous respect for the knowledge, heart, and commitment that the Primrose team brings to the table each and every day,” she added.

The 24-unit memory care community will open in the spring of 2018.  It is being built by The Douglas Company and financed by First Citizens Bank.

AUSTIN, MN– Primrose Retirement Community of Austin has hired Marie Trocinski to be their new Sales Director.  In this capacity, Trocinski will oversee all marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Austin.

Trocinski Graduated from Riverland Community College with degrees in applied science, liberal arts, and a certificate in business.  She brings experience in sales, nursing, and customer service with her to Primrose.  “When I walked into the building, the warmth and welcoming atmosphere or Primrose was so inviting,” said Trocinski.  “I am so excited to get to know our current residents and to help new ones learn about what makes Primrose so special,” she added.

APPLETON, WI – Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton has hired Gunnar Witthuhn to be their new Sales Director.  Witthuhn began his duties on January 8, and in this capacity, he will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts as well as public relations events and community outreach for Primrose of Appleton.

Witthuhn has a degree in healthcare administration from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.  He brings years of sales experience to Primrose with him, including his previous position as Sales and Marketing Director at Lakeshore Manor Memory Care in Oshkosh, WI.

“I wanted a chance to make a difference for seniors in my community and help them live like they deserve to,” said Witthuhn.  “I am excited to build meaningful relationships with prospective residents and their families,” he added.

Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton, located at 5715 N Meade St., is expected to be open in the fall of 2018.  It will be built by Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. and is being financed by Investors Community Bank.  When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 50 people.
