Primrose of Kansas City Hires New Director of Nursing

KANSAS CITY, MO – Primrose Retirement Community of Kansas City has hired Patricia Spiegle to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Spiegle will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Rod Clark, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Spiegle has been involved in nursing since 1996.  She has worked in oncology, home care, long-term care, surgery, pediatrics, emergency room, and intensive care settings throughout her career.  She was working in a trauma center in Kansas City before coming to Primrose.  “I was ready for a change and looking for a nursing position I could stay in until I retire,” Spiegle said.  “Primrose shares the same values I have, and I am proud to be here,” she added.

Primrose of Rapid City Hires New Director of Nursing

RAPID CITY, SD – Primrose Retirement Community of Rapid City has hired Lisa Davis to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Davis will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Jordan Murphy, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Davis studied business and accounting at Black Hills State University before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Since becoming a nurse, she has worked for Deadwood Hospital in the surgical and emergency departments.  “I chose Primrose because of its reputation for quality care and compassion for residents,” Davis said.  “I wanted to work for a company that truly respects its people, and I believe I have found that here,” she added.

Primrose of Council Bluffs Hires New Director of Nursing

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA– Primrose Retirement Community of Council Bluffs has hired Kandi Stull to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Stull will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Paul Larsen, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Stull has over 25 years of experience in a nursing home setting.  She was also a Director of Nursing in a long-term care community before joining Primrose.  “I love coming in to work and seeing the smiling faces of our residents,” Stull said.  “Seeing their happiness makes me feel proud to work with such an amazing staff,” she added.

Primrose of Mishawaka Hires New Sales Director

MISHAWAKA, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka has hired Fran Conner to be their Sales Director.  She began her duties on July 26.  In this capacity Conner will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for the retirement community.

Conner brings more than 10 years of experience in senior healthcare with her to Primrose.  She has worked in home care, senior living sales and marketing, and as an independent living administrator during that time.  “I came to Primrose to help make a difference in the lives of seniors,” Conner said.  ‘I consider it a privilege to come alongside them and offer assistance,” she added.

Primrose of Anderson Hires New Memory Care Director of Nursing

ANDERSON, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Anderson has hired Ashley Craig to be Director of Nursing for their memory care services.  She began her duties on February 12.  In this role, Craig will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kari Alcorn, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Craig is a 2007 graduate of Ball State University.  She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and has worked in hospitals and as a visiting nurse throughout the region since her graduation.  “I came to Primrose because I truly believe in their mission and vision,” Alcorn said.  “It is a blessing to come to work each day knowing that I am valued as a person and as a professional,” she added.

The Primrose of Anderson Memory Care Community, located at 2101 N. Primrose of Pueblo Hires New Director of Nursing

PUEBLO, CO– Primrose Retirement Community of Pueblo announces that Dawn Jones has joined the team as Director of Nursing. In this role, Jones will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Glinda MacKenzie, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Jones has nursing experience in both home health and long-term care settings.  She is also a former senior living Executive Director.  “I look forward to bringing a wealth of experience and a great love for seniors with me to Primrose,” Jones said.  “I have always heard great things about Primrose, and I was clear to me from the moment I first visited that this was the place for me,” she added.

Primrose of Wausau Hires New Director of Nursing

WAUSAU, WI – Primrose Retirement Community of Wausau has hired Cynthia Fish to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Fish will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kathy Jamison, manage the nursing staff.  Fish, who began working at Primrose on February 26, will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Fish brings 41 years of nursing experience with her to Primrose, including experience in dementia care, rehab, and hospice.  “At this point in my career, I thought Primrose would be a perfect fit,” Fish said.  “I have a compassion for seniors and a real desire to help residents maintain their highest level of independence for as long as possible.  I’m very much looking forward to helping make a difference in their lives,” she added.

SHAWNEE, OK – Primrose Retirement Community of Shawnee has hired Nicole Tolbert to be their new Sales Director.  She began her duties in January.  In this capacity, Tolbert will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Shawnee.

Tolbert has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and brings sales and marketing experience in home health, hospice, and senior living with her to Primrose.  “When I first visited Primrose, I felt the love and compassion our staff has toward our residents and one another,” Tolbert said.  “I knew from that day that Primrose was where I wanted to be,” she added.

KANSAS CITY, MO – Primrose Retirement Community of Kansas City has hired Rod Clark to be their new Executive Director.  He began his duties in February, and in this capacity, Clark will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Clark was the Dining Services Director at Primrose of Kansas City starting in 2014 until becoming Executive Director in February.  He studied criminal justice and human behavior in college and has also completed coursework in the field of human relations.

“My first few years at Primrose have been wonderful,” said Clark.  I have truly found the company I want to retire from, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to be the Executive Director here,” he added.
