Primrose of Council Bluffs Hires New Director of Nursing

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA– Primrose Retirement Community of Council Bluffs has hired Jessica Wunderlich to be their new Director of Nursing.  In this role, Wunderlich will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Paul Larsen, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Wunderlich has a nursing degree from Nebraska Wesleyan.  She has been in the healthcare field since 2000, working in acute care, case management, and nurse education, and was the Director of Nursing at Primrose in 2015 before transferring to another retirement community.

“I returned to Primrose in July of 2018 after attending the funeral of a longtime resident I helped take care of when I was there,” Wunderlich said.  “I was so proud to see the staff being honored for their care and compassion during the service.  It made me want to come back,” she added.

Primrose of Gillette Hires New Executive Director

GILLETTE, WY – Primrose Retirement Community of Gillette has hired Kelli Hill to be their new Executive Director.  She began her duties in June, and in this capacity, Hill will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Hill studied accounting at Black Hills State University and brings experience in management, sales, and accounting with her to Primrose.  She also owned a land development company in Campbell County for six years and a coffee shop in Gillette for three years.

“Primrose offers such a positive and fun atmosphere, and I love to spend time with our amazing residents and their families,” Hill said.  “I look forward to providing positive leadership for our great staff and a fresh outlook on the future of our community,” she added.

Todd DeLeon Hired as New Executive Director at Sweetwater Retirement in Billings

BILLINGS, MT – Sweetwater Retirement Community of Billings has hired Todd DeLeon to be their new Executive Director.  He began his duties in June, and in this capacity, DeLeon will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

DeLeon has a business degree from Cal State Fullerton and has management experience in the medical field as well as in hospitality and retail sales.  “I came to Primrose because I enjoy serving people,” said Deleon.  “I will provide a servant leadership style of management. Not only to serve as a support system but to ensure that I am providing others the opportunity to learn and grow both professionally and personally,” he added.

Eggett, a Council Bluffs native, has degrees in accounting and business administration from Nebraska Business College.  “I could instantly feel love when I walked into Primrose on my first day,” said Eggett.  “I was blessed to have grandparents who showered me with unconditional love when I was growing up, and now it is my turn to pay that forward to our residents,” she added.

Primrose of Midland Hires New Executive Director

MIDLAND, MI – Primrose Retirement Community of Midland has hired Crystalee Cook to be their new Executive Director.  She began her duties in June, and in this capacity, Cook will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Cook grew up in Chesaning, MI and graduated from Delta College.  She became a licensed practical nurse in 2004 and has worked in acute care, home health, and skilled nursing.  “I am excited to get out and talk to the people of Midland about Primrose,” Cook said.  “This is the kind of place seniors deserve to live in during their retirement, and I am excited to be a part of helping to make that happen,” she added.

The community is expected to open in the Spring of 2019.  It will be built by Wolgast Corporation and is being financed by CorTrust Bank. When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 50 people.

Primrose of Casper Hires New Director of Nursing

CASPER, WY – Primrose Retirement Community of Casper has hired Georgia Kennah to be their new Director of Nursing.  She began her duties in June, and in this role Kennah will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Eileen Ford, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Kennah attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming and has degrees in radiologic technology, nursing, and administration of justice.  She worked for 18 years as a nurse in an emergency room setting in Colorado and for three years as a unit manager and interim nursing director at Life Care Center of Stonegate in Parker, CO.

“It is my calling to work with seniors,” Kennah said.  “I researched Primrose and talked to people in Casper about it, and I was really drawn here.  I love their philosophy and how they care for our seniors,” she added.

Primrose of Shawnee Hires New Executive Director

SHAWNEE, OK – Primrose Retirement Community of Shawnee has hired Catina Elliott to become their new Executive Director.  In this capacity, Elliott will oversee all daily operations, as well as manage and lead the staff.

Elliott has an associate degree in criminal justice and is an RCAL licensed administrator in Oklahoma.  She has worked in the healthcare field since 1996, starting as a CNA before becoming an activities and social services director.

“I believe I was led to Primrose,” said Elliott.  “It is such a warm and welcoming place for all who walk through the front door,” she added.

Primrose of Duluth Hires New Sales Director

DULUTH, MN – Primrose Retirement Community of Duluth has hired Rachel Rodlund to be their new Sales Director.  She began her duties in May, and in this capacity, Rodlund will oversee all marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for the independent and assisted living community.

Rodlund graduated from the University of Minnesota in Duluth in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in health care management.  She has been involved in healthcare since the age of 16 when she was a Certified Nursing Assistant for a long-term care nursing facility.  She was also an account representative and a care coordinator in a primary care clinic before joining Primrose.

“The first moment I stepped in the door at Primrose I felt welcome,” Rodlund said.  “Staff and residents were so kind and spoke so highly of Primrose, and I knew it was where I wanted to be,” she added.

Primrose of Marion Hires New Director of Nursing

MARION, OH – Primrose Retirement Community of Marion has hired Laura Tramontana to be their new Director of Nursing.  She began her duties in May, and in this role Tramontana will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Bonnie Stepanian, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Tramontana attended Tri-Rivers School of Practical Nursing and MidCentral School of Nursing, and is currently finishing nursing-related course work at Purdue University Northwest.  She has been involved in nursing since 2001, mainly working in emergency department settings.

“I came to Primrose because I was impressed with the beauty of the community and the kindness of the staff,” Tramontana said.  “I look forward to working with the team at Primrose of Marion as we continue enhancing and enriching the lives of seniors in our community,” she added.

MARION, OH – Primrose Retirement Community of Marion has hired Robert Landon to be their new Sales Director.  Landon began his duties in May, and in this capacity, he will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts as well as public relations events and community outreach for Primrose of Marion.

Landon graduated from Tri-Rivers Career Center with a focus on public safety services.  He brings experience as a former store manager with Sprint and a manager at Lendmark Financial Services with him to Primrose.  He also serves on the Marion City Council.

“I want my work to be fulfilling and have a purpose,” Landon said.  “I believe being at Primrose provides me with that opportunity.  We have wonderful staff and residents who are always friendly and welcoming to everyone,” he added.
