Primrose of Mankato Hires New Sales Director

MANKATO, MN – Primrose Retirement Community of Mankato has hired Lori Pietsch to be their new Sales Director.  In this role, Pietsch will oversee all marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for the independent living and assisted living community.  She began her duties on September 18th.

Pietsch is a graduate of Mankato State University and also holds a degree in business education.  She brings 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry with her to Primrose.  “I am excited to be a part of the energy and excitement around recruiting future residents of this beautiful community,” Pietsch said.

“Lori is a welcome addition to the Primrose team,” said Primrose Executive Director Karen Pehrson.  “We’re very excited to have her.  Lori’s knowledge, experience, and passion will help Primrose continue in our mission of providing the best living experience and highest quality of life for our residents.”

Primrose Home Office Adds New Staff

ABERDEEN, SD – The Primrose Home Office has hired Bobbie Lerew as their newest Regional Operations Manager.  In this role, Lerew will provide ongoing support, direction, and management to the five Primrose communities she will oversee.  She will also conduct site visits to various Primrose communities.  Lerew will begin her new role on November 13th.

“We’re very excited to have Bobbie on board,” said Jim Heller, Primrose Director of Operations.  “We look forward to the many unique talents she brings to the operations team here at the Home Office,” he added.

Lerew has been at Primrose for 10 years.  She worked in accounting and, most recently, as an Operations Specialist, before becoming an Operations Manager.  A graduate of Northern State University, Lerew is excited to begin her new role.  “It has been wonderful to have the opportunity to grow within this company,” said Lerew.  “Working in different departments over the years has allowed me to understand how they all work together for the benefit of Primrose,” she added.

Primrose Home Office Adds New Staff

ABERDEEN, SD – The Primrose Home Office has hired Kate Stankovic and Maribteh Outhier as their newest Regional Sales and Marketing Managers.  In this capacity, Stankovic and Outhier will coach and equip Primrose Sales Directors across the country as they work with prospective residents and their families in their search for senior living options.

“We’re very excited to have Kate and Maribeth on board,” said Primrose Director of Sales and Marketing, Jessi Weldon.  “We look forward to the many unique talents they bring to the team here at the Home Office,” she added.

For the past three years, Stankovic served as the Sales Director at Primrose of Decatur, IL, before joining the Home Office sales and marketing team in October.  She will be based out of Decatur, and work with Primrose communities in Ohio.

For the past two years, Outhier served as the Sales Director in Stillwater, OK before joining the Home Office sales and marketing team.  When she starts on November 19, Outhier will be based out of Stillwater and work with Primrose communities in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and Alaska.

“When I first saw the commitment that this organization has for its residents and staff, I knew I had to be a part of it,” Outhier said.  “In this new role, I am most excited about helping others to reach their professional goals,” she added.

Bonnie Stepanian Named Executive Director at Primrose Retirement Community of Marion

MARION, OH – Primrose Retirement Community of Marion has hired Bonnie Stepanian to be their new Executive Director.  She began her duties in August, and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Stepanian has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.  She brings 27 years of healthcare experience with her to Primrose in a combination of nursing care and assisted living environments.

“Primrose has true respect for seniors and a desire to maintain a beautiful, amenity-rich environment,” Stepanian said.  “I have a passion for serving seniors, and am excited to be part of the team at Primrose,” she added.

Keith Howard Named Sales Director at Primrose Retirement Community of Gillette

GILLETTE, WY – Primrose Retirement Community of Gillette has hired Keith Howard to be their new Sales Director.  Howard began his duties in September and will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Gillette.

Howard has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming, and a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.  Prior to joining Primrose, he worked as a Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Specialist for the Prevention Management Organization of WY.

“I am excited to share my love for Gillette, my passion for providing exceptional customer service, and my enthusiasm for Primrose,” said Howard.  He is an active member of the Gillette community where he lives with his wonderful wife and two beautiful children.  Together they enjoy skiing, fishing, camping, and card & board games in their free time.

Keli Causey Named Director of Nursing at Primrose Retirement Community of Decatur

DECATUR, IL – Primrose Retirement Community of Decatur has hired Keli Causey to be their new Director of Nursing.  Causey began her duties on August 16th.  In this role, she will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Leslie Strohl, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

A graduate of Richland Community College, Causey previously worked as the Employee Health Services Coordinator at Decatur Memorial Hospital and the Director of Nursing at Evergreen Senior Living before joining Primrose.

“I immediately fell in love with the residents and staff at Primrose,” said Causey.  I look forward to my future here at Primrose, and am excited to coordinate the best care possible for our residents and their families,” she added.

Karen Pehrson Named Executive Director at Primrose Retirement Community of Mankato

MANKATO, MN – Primrose Retirement Community of Mankato has promoted former Sales Director Karen Pehrson to be their new Executive Director.  Former Executive Director Carol Armendariz is now a Primrose Regional Operations Manager.  In her new role, Pehrson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Pehrson is a graduate of South Central College and holds a life, health and long term care license.  Prior to joining Primrose in 2014, she spent five years at DuPont Pioneer handling administrative and project coordination for the sales leadership team in Southern MN, and before that, seven years in client services.

“Coming to Primrose helps me to expand on my passion to help others,” Pehrson said.  “I want to help individuals find the best way through their life journey, and to share in their happiness,” she added.

Tammy Barker Named Memory Care Director of Nursing at Primrose Retirement Community of Anderson

ANDERSON, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Anderson has hired Tammy Barker to be Director of Nursing for their memory care services.  She began her duties on July 17th.  In this role, Barker will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kevin Spaugh, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Jennifer Liggitt Named Sales Director at Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka

Liggitt brings 20 years of healthcare experience with her to Primrose.  She has worked in long term care, assisted living, independent living, social services, marketing, and activities settings during that time.  “I am looking forward to meeting new residents, future residents, and their families,” said Liggitt.  “I love to build relationships with people and look forward to serving the seniors in our community,” she added.

Autumn Edgington Named Memory Care Director of Nursing at Primrose Retirement Community of Rogers

ROGERS, AR – Primrose Retirement Community of Rogers has hired Autumn Edgington to be the Director of Nursing for their memory care services.  She began in July, and in this role, Edgington will guide and oversee the overall care of memory care residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Chris Clifton, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Edgington has a degree in nursing from Merrac College in San Diego, CA.  The United States Army veteran brings with her experience working in surgical settings, obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, geriatrics, obstetrics, and memory care.

“I came to Primrose, in part, because I wanted to be a part of the new culture being created here,” Edgington said.  “Opening a new community is exciting, and I very much looking forward to serving our residents and staff in my new position,” she added.
