CHEYENNE, WY. – Primrose Retirement Community of Cheyenne has hired Heather Christoffersen to join the Primrose team as Director of Nursing. In this role, Christoffersen will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director David Sheppard, manage the nursing staff. She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
Christoffersen has degrees in kinesiology and nursing, and brings 16 years of healthcare experience with her to Primrose. “I came to Primrose because I had an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of area seniors as a Director of Nursing,” said Christoffersen. “I have felt at home here since the first day I visited, and this is where I want to grow and mature in my nursing career,” she added.
“We’re very excited to have Heather in her new role,” said Primrose Regional Operations Manager Carol Armendariz. “Her enthusiasm and drive will help Primrose continue in our mission of providing an amazing experience for our incredible residents. We’re confident that she and her team will do great things for Primrose of Cheyenne.”
The Primrose of Cheyenne Community, located at 1530 Dorothy Lane, consists of four townhome villas, 40 independent living apartment homes, and 40 assisted-living apartment homes.
