Primrose of Decatur Hires New Sales Director

DECATUR, IL – Primrose Retirement Community of Decatur has hired Katelyn Smith to be their new Sales Director.  In this capacity, Smith will oversee all sales and marketing efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach for the independent and assisted living community.

Smith studied psychology at Blackburn College and nursing at Richland Communty College.  She brings experience in nursing, social work, and life enrichment with her to Primrose.

“I have always wanted to be a part of the Primrose family,” Smith said.  “Primrose Retirement Community has a strong presence in the Decatur community as well as a fantastic reputation for taking care of seniors.  It has always felt like this is where I belonged, and I am grateful to finally be a part of this company,” she added.

Sweetwater of Billings Hires New Sales Director

BILLINGS, MT – Sweetwater Retirement Community of Billings has hired Belinda Holloway to be their new Sales Director.  She began her duties on November 20, and in this capacity Holloway will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Sweetwater of Billings.

Holloway has a degree in communications from Montana State University in Billings, and she brings over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and public relations with her to Primrose.

“I wanted to use my skills, knowledge, and experience working for a company that puts people first,” Holloway said.  “Sweetwater is that place, and I look forward to working with this great team to make it the top choice for senior living in Billings,” she added.

Primrose of Stillwater Hires New Sales Director

STILLWATER, OK – Primrose Retirement Community of Stillwater has hired Kelly Alexander to become their new Sales Director.  In this capacity, Alexander will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Stillwater.  She began in her new role on November 13th.

Alexander attended Northern Oklahoma Community College for general studies and received her nursing degree from Meridian Technology Center.  She has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for the past 15 years.

“I am excited about taking on the challenge of a new position with such a great company,” Alexander said.  “I look forward to helping seniors and their families on their journey,” she added.

“We are excited to have Kelly on board,” said Executive Director Toni Wolfe.  “She is already an asset to our team and we look forward to accomplishing great things together,” he added.

Primrose of Wausau Hires New Memory Care Director of Nursing

WAUSAU, WI – Primrose Retirement Community of Wausau has hired Kelly Carlson to be their new Director of Memory Care Nursing.  She began her duties on October 30.  In this role, Carlson will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Kathy Jamison, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Primrose of Appleton Hires New Executive Director

APPLETON, WI – Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton has hired Breeze Skorupski to be their new Executive Director.  She began her duties in November, and in this capacity, Skorupski will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Skorupski was born in Escanaba, MI and moved to Wisconsin in 2015.  She brings 13 years of healthcare experience with her to Primrose, with the last six being senior living-focused.

“I am thrilled to be here and to help introduce Primrose to the people of Appleton,” Skorupski said.  “I am grateful for this amazing opportunity and very excited for what the future holds,” she added.

Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton, located at 5715 N Meade St., is expected to be open in the fall of 2018.  It will be built by Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. and is being financed by Investors Community Bank.  When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 50 people.

Primrose of Lancaster Hires New Director Of Nursing

LANCASTER, OH – Primrose Retirement Community of Lancaster has hired Lynn Smith to be their Director of Nursing.  She began her duties on October 26.  In this role Smith will guide and oversee the care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Adam Jones, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Smith obtained her associate’s degree in nursing from Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH.  She brings 16 years of experience in nursing with her to Primrose.  “I really love the home-like feel of our community,” said Smith.  “I am excited to work in an environment where we can provide such great care for our senior population,” she added.

“We are thrilled to have Lynn on our team,” said Jill Yetzer, Regional Operations Manager with Primrose.  “Her love for the senior population is evident, and we are looking forward to a great future here in Lancaster,” she added.

The Primrose of Lancaster Community, located at 1481 Wesley Way, consists of 10 townhome villas, 36 independent living apartment homes, and 32 assisted-living apartment homes.  A new memory care community is also expected to be open in the spring of 2018.  It will be built by The Douglas Company and is being financed by First Citizens Bank.

Primrose of Marion Hires New Sales Director

Bond is a graduate of Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, where she holds a degree in sleep medicine.  She has been working in that field since 2011.  “I came to Primrose because of the wonderful staff and the beautiful community,” Bond said.  “I am excited about sharing the Primrose mission with our community and showing the compassion and care that our staff has to offer,” she added.
