Primrose of Newburgh Hires New Executive Director

NEWBURGH, IN – Primrose of Newburgh has hired Carla Grimwood as their new Executive Director.  She began her duties on June 1 and in this capacity Grimwood will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.  Since Primrose is currently under construction, much of Grimwood’s early efforts will revolve around hiring staff and educating the community about Primrose and the services they provide for area seniors.

Grimwood has an associate degree in business management from Lockyear College.  She has been in the senior living arena since 1998 and is coming to Primrose from Atria Senior Living where she was an Executive Director for the past eight years.

“I am very excited to help open a new community,” Grimwood said.  “I enjoy being able to wear many hats and am very proud of the work being done here.  Our team is very excited to be working for Primrose and to give our future residents a wonderful senior living experience,” she added.

Primrose Retirement Community of Newburgh is expected to be open in the spring of 2017.  When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 30 people.
