Primrose of Cheyenne Announces New Sales Director

CHEYENNE, WY – Primrose Retirement Community of Cheyenne has promoted former Life Enrichment Coordinator Lisa McInelly to the position of Marketing Director.  In this capacity, McInelly will oversee all marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Cheyenne.

McInelly, a Cheyenne Central High School graduate, has over 20 years of experience in accounting, loan processing and marketing.  Since November of 2013, she served as the Primrose Life Enrichment Coordinator before being promoted to Sales Director in July.

“I am excited to work with new residents and their families during their time of transition,” said McInelly.  “I feel that I can bring the devotion and compassion to Primrose that is needed to make a positive difference in their lives,” she added.

“We’re very excited to have Lisa on the team,” said Primrose Regional Operations Manager Melanie Soupir.  “Her enthusiasm and drive will help Primrose continue in our mission of providing the best living experience and highest quality of life for our residents.  We’re confident that Lisa will do great things for Primrose of Cheyenne.”

Primrose of Shawnee Announces new Director of Nursing

SHAWNEE, OK – Primrose of Shawnee has hired Christine Barry to be the new Director of Nursing for the independent and assisted living community. In this role, Barry will guide the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Ronnie Stringer, manage the nursing staff.  She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.  She began in this capacity on January 13th.

Barry is a graduate of Rose State College, and brings with her extensive nursing experience in long term care and hospice.

“We are very excited that Christine has joined our management team.” said Primrose Executive Director Ronnie Stringer.  “She has some wonderful experience, and more importantly, she has a great deal of passion and energy for our residents. I have no doubt that she will help take Primrose to the next level.”

Primrose of Wasilla Announces new Sales Director

WASILLA, AK – Primrose of Wasilla has hired Rachel Burris to be the new Sales Director for the independent and assisted living community.  In this capacity, Burris will oversee all sales and marketing efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach for Primrose.

Before coming to Primrose, Burris owned a business with her husband for 12 years, and she is looking forward to her new role.  “I was looking for a challenging yet rewarding career when I inquired about this position at Primrose,” Burris said.  “I am excited to be here, and look forward to bringing a fresh set of ideas to an already wonderful community,” she added.

Primrose of Kokomo Announces new Maintenance Director

KOKOMO, IN – Primrose of Kokomo has hired Dave Arnett as the new Maintenance Director for the independent and assisted living community. In this role, Arnett will manage the overall inspection, repair and general maintenance of the community.

Arnett worked in the commercial construction business for 23 years, spending some of that time working on high-rise buildings in Indianapolis.  He also spent 15 years as the owner of a custom woodworking business and worked maintenance for Noblesville schools before coming to Primrose.

“I am so impressed with the staff and residents here,” said Arnett.  “I look forward to being able to assist our residents with anything they need,” He added.

Primrose Home Office Announces New Finance and Investment Manager

ABERDEEN, SD – Primrose Retirement Communities has hired Anthony Schwab to be its Finance and Investment Manager.  In this new role, Schwab will be responsible for assisting in bank, lender and investor relationships and financing packages, as well as other financing duties.

“Anthony brings some very valuable experience, and we are excited that he is taking on this new role,” said Primrose Retirement Communities President BJ Schaefbauer.  “He has a proven record of success, and we are confident that he will help us take our Finance Department to the next level.”

Previously, Schwab worked as a Tax Senior Associate at Eide Bailly LLP.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in professional accountancy from Northern State University.

Primrose of Jefferson City Announces New Director of Nursing

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Primrose Retirement Community of Jefferson City has hired LaToya Duckworth to be the new Director of Nursing for the independent and assisted living community. In this role, Duckworth will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Sandy Kliegel, manage the nursing staff.  Duckworth, who began working at Primrose on July 15th, will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Duckworth has an associate’s degree in nursing, bachelor’s degrees in both liberal studies and nursing, and is currently working on a master’s degree in healthcare administration.  She worked at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Truman Veteran’s Hospital in Columbia, MO before coming to Primrose.

“I love the idea of what Primrose stands for,” said Duckworth.  “Primrose is such a refreshing place, and one that I am proud to be a part of,” she added.
