Primrose of Bismarck Announces New Executive Director

BISMARCK, ND – Primrose Retirement Community of Bismarck has hired Darcie Handt to be their new Executive Director.  He began his duties on April 13th, and in this capacity, Handt will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

Handt has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Valley City State University and a Masters of Business Administration from American Military University.  He brings with him 36 years of military service in the North Dakota National Guard, during which time he held positions in supply management, recruiting, maintenance and logistics.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve in a community with such a rich, family atmosphere,” said Handt.  “I wanted to work with people, and this type of environment allows me to give back to those who are deserving of some special treatment,” he added.

“We’re very excited to have Darcy in his new role,” said Primrose Regional Operations Manager Melanie Soupir.  “His enthusiasm and drive will help Primrose continue in our mission of providing an amazing experience for our incredible residents.  We’re confident that he and his team will do great things for Primrose of Bismarck.”

Primrose of Pueblo Announces New Executive Director

PUEBLO, CO – Primrose Retirement Community of Pueblo has hired Glinda MacKenzie to be their new Executive Director.  She began her duties on April 13th, and in this capacity, MacKenzie will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community.

MacKenzie has been with Primrose for the past 5 years, and is excited about what the future holds.  “I am especially excited about the new villas that are currently under construction,” MacKenzie said.  “It is exciting for our residents and our staff to see Primrose move forward, and I have been given an uplifting and wonderful opportunity as the new Executive Director here,” she added.
