Primrose of Pueblo Announces New Director of Nursing

PUEBLO, CO– Primrose Retirement Community of Pueblo announces that Catherine Karpilo has joined the team as Director of Nursing for the independent and assisted living community. In this role, Karpilo will guide and oversee the overall care of residents and, in conjunction with Executive Director Gina Drown, manage the nursing staff. She will also ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.

Karpilo, a 1991 graduate of the University of the State of New York, has previous experience as a long term care consultant and as an administrator in a skilled nursing setting. “This area of nursing was one I had not had the opportunity to explore before,” said Karpilo. “I hope to bring some experience in managing and coaching the nursing team and I look forward to the opportunity to assist our residents as they access wellness,” she added.

“We are very excited that Catherine has joined our management team.” said Primrose Executive Director Gina Drown. “She has some wonderful experience, and more importantly, she will bring a great deal of passion and energy for our residents. I have no doubt that she will help take Primrose to the next level.”

Primrose Retirement Community of Pueblo, located at 5055 Outlook Boulevard, currently consists of 39 Independent Living Apartments and 40 Assisted Living Apartments.  There are also 20 townhome villas currently under construction due for completion in late 2015.
