MISHAWAKA, IN – Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka has hired Laurie Zande to be their Sales Director.  She began her duties on December 20.  In this capacity Zande will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for the retirement community.

Zande, a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, brings more than eight years of senior living experience with her to Primrose.  During that time, she traveled throughout the country doing training in senior living sales and customer service as well as assisting communities with their census.

“What excites me the most about being at Primrose is seeing our residents smile,” Zande said.  “It is wonderful to be able to help people find a new home that they truly love,” she added.

“We are excited to have Laurie on the team,” said Executive Director Leah Bennett.  “Her experience in the industry is very much appreciated and we are very excited about what the future holds,” she added.

Sweetwater of Billings Hires New Sales Director

A graduate of Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Wagner brings 25 years of sales and marketing experience with her to Primrose.  She has worked in finance, technology, and healthcare in Billings, Portland, OR, and Denver, CO.

ROGERS, AR – Primrose Retirement Community of Rogers has hired Angie Clark to be their Sales Director.  She began in December and in this capacity Clark will oversee all marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Rogers.

Clark attended the College of the Ozarks and earned a science degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College.  She is currently enrolled in the Organizational Leadership Business degree program at John Brown University.  She brings with her 13 years at Innisfree Senior Living as an Event Coordinator and Heath Care Administrator.  “The vision of the Primrose organization aligns with my own vision of serving seniors,” Clark said.  “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to expand my skills while developing relationships with seniors,” she added.

“We are excited to have Angie on board,” said Executive Director Chris Clifton.  “She is already an asset to our team and we look forward to accomplishing great things together,” he added.

Primrose of Rogers is expected to be open in the summer of 2017.  When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 50 people.

KOKOMO, IN – Primrose of Kokomo has hired Joni DeLon as the new Sales Director for the independent and assisted living community.  She began her duties on November 28, 2016, and in this capacity DeLon oversees all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Kokomo.

DeLon has a business degree from Ball State University and a certification in management and communications from Cornell University.  She worked for Marsh Corporate Supermarkets from 1977-2006 as a Corporate Manager.  She was responsible for direct store accounts and coordinated over 750 associates and vendors.

“I came to Primrose because of their great integrity, customer service, and solid reputation,” DeLon said.  “I believe this is a place where my passion, communication skills, and effective leadership are the necessary tools for success,” she added.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA. – Primrose Retirement Community of Council Bluffs has hired Jennifer Clark to be their new Sales Director.  Clark, the former Life Enrichment Coordinator at Primrose, began her duties on November 21.  In this capacity, Clark will oversee all the marketing and sales efforts, as well as public relations events and community outreach, for Primrose of Council Bluffs.

In addition to being the former Life Enrichment Coordinator at Primrose, Clark also owned a hair salon, taught at EQ School of Hair Design, and was the hair stylist at Fontanelle Nursing Care Community.  “I am very excited to help seniors and their families on their journey,” said Clark.  “Working with seniors makes me love life to the fullest – they have so much knowledge and wisdom to share,” she added.

Sweetwater of Billings Hires New Executive Director

Olson, a Licensed Practical Nurse, brings with her 25 years of healthcare experience including eight years in case management and utilization review, five years in skilled nursing and rehab, and two years of sales experience as a licensed realtor.

Pitt has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Western Kentucky University and an associate degree in nursing from Columbia State Community College.  She has worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years, including four years in hospice care and nine years in psychiatric nursing.

Clifton studied accounting at the University of Arkansas and brings with him 20 years of experience in both hotel management and senior living sales.  “I came to Primrose because I love working with seniors and I greatly admire the Primrose culture,” Clifton said.  “I look forward to seeing the community serve seniors in and around the Rogers area,” he added.

Primrose of Rogers is expected to be open in 2017.  It is being built by CR Crawford and financed by Bear State Bank.  When open, the retirement community expects to employ approximately 50 people.
